We had a fantastic response to this years Chardonnay Lodge Arts Prize, with over 30 high quality entries. Judge Sue Sambell was impressed with the quality and diverse range of works. It was Mt Gambier artist Jenny Johnson work 'Cheers 10' which won the day, with the two Merit awards going to works by Kathleen Munn and Margo Miles. The entries will hang for an additional 6 weeks, so please come on in and take a look!

The newest addition to the Coonawarra landscape is open and it's must visit when you come stay at Chardonnay Lodge, it's located just across the road. Kitchen cafe @ The Poplars is open seven days a week for breakfast, coffee, cake, lunch, brunch and snacks 9am through 6pm. The cellar door precinct features not only the cafe but also a regional produce store, cellar door tasting and sales and a cheese bar with tasting and sales so you can savour the experience at home.
